Art Sempka Studio

ArtSempka Studio has grown on solid family traditions. I was taught sculpture and woodcarving by my father - Leszek Sempka, a well known and esteemed artist creating in wood and coal. His works were honoured in diplomas in Poland and abroad. His sculptures were given to the hands of Pope John Paul II three times.

Woodcarving and sculpture have gradually mixed with woodwork, which brought about the works in artistic woodwork. My objective was to expand the activities related to conservation and restoration of monuments

I developed my theoretical knowledge at the Silesian University of Technology at the Faculty of Architecture, obtaining in 2004 Master's Degree in Architecture, as well as at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, graduating in 2009 post-graduate studies in Monuments and Preservation of Architectural Heritage.

I gained particularly valuable skills and experience during working for Conservation Letterfrack. This is the largest conservation-restoration studio in Ireland, executing works among others for the National Museum in Ireland.

Since 2006 I have been registered as a sculptor in the Irish Georgian Society, which is dealing with conservation and restoration of monuments of the Irish architecture.

ArtSempka studio is continuation of the company QBE Marcin Sempka.
